If you want to watch Netflix from abroad, your best option is NordVPN. Question New router, 2.In short: A regular Torguard subscription won’t help you securely access any Netflix libraries. Maximum line of sight distance between mesh router and hubs? Question Steam Deck will connect to the router but not to the WiFi extender ? Question iPhone will connect to WiFi extender but not to the router itself ? My network admin answer: if I was you I would run a log on all communications from your system to suspected web sites (isp graciously gives this information in those emails/letters) and find the culprit in your company guilty of using your system to download from pirate web site and fire him, and not promote them to get VPN and now can do as they wish (you ignoring the issue and not really solving the problem.) The answer your looking for: call them back and ask them what is the best hardware they sell for your needs and budget but in anycase, if your trying to use a VPN router, it seems to me their web site has a nice -10% promo running from their vpn router page the application in question is Torguard from correct ? because that application is computer based not Router based anyways.Ĥ. if so, then are you trying to permit people by being on a VPN to become undetectable? because Torguard is exactly what this is. I have seen letters of this type may it be in email to the system admin warning them someone on their network has downloaded from pirate web site or other situationĢ. ![]() My bigger and cheaper solution reviewing your question is based on "I use TorGuard and after receiving a couple of warnings from my ISP (not sure who is doing what)"ġ. Can anyone help? Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to be sure I supplied as much info as possible. Once a VPN is turned off, that tracker can upload itself without anyone knowing and return to the source with all of the ISP provider customer information. My other concern is that I've heard that when using some clients to download various files or applications, there are often trackers associated with them. Not sure if that helps? Do I need to buy a different router? Are there solutions available to resolve bottlenecking? It sure would be easier just to install it at the source, rather than to install it on every single device (over 20). Is there anything I can do to resolve this? Does it mean having to get a new router? I should note, that the VPN on the router drop in speed is on both a LAN connection and WiFi. They say there's something wrong with my router and it is bottlenecking. They had advised it's better for me to utilize a kill app, or bind a specific client (for example, Vuze, etc.) to the VPN desktop application. Upon trying speed checks with turning he router vpn off, and only using a device specific desktop vpn client, my speeds return to normal. I'm running Merlin on an Asus RT-AC66R router. ![]() Tech support has had me change from TCP to UDP, change ports, change encipher several different times, and we tried connecting to multiple servers. Once I turn on the VPN, I can no more than 10 down and maybe 13 up. When turned off on the router, I can pull at least 100 down and 20 up. I got it all set up on my router, but no matter what settings we choose, the speeds drop 70-80% with the VPN activated. I use TorGuard and after receiving a couple of warnings from my ISP (not sure who is doing what), but I decided it might be best to attach the VPN desktop application (which obviously was't working for some reason), and put it straight on the router so all devices in the home will be secure (to a degree). We have spent an hour going back and forth trying different settings, but nothing worked. I'm hoping someone can help, because the tech support at my VPN hasn't.
